Serve On A Team
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”1 Peter 4:10
Are you an incredible host, handy with a screwdriver, or a toddler-whisperer? Enjoy getting to know others while using your gifts!
Welcome the congregation into the building and help lead the check-in process to ensure we’re following pandemic safety guidelines. A great opportunity to serve if you are somewhat outgoing, gifted in hospitality, or interested in helping everyone keep “COVID-safe”, but anyone can join the team! Volunteers serve 1-3 services per month as available; call time for this team is 45 minutes before service begins.
ALTAR GUILD TEAM
Help prepare Eucharist and the altar for services. Altar guild is a cool opportunity to learn more about the liturgical elements of services. A good option for introverts, this team involves a smaller time commitment and requires some training. Serve 1-2 Sundays/month for a few minutes before, between, or after Sunday services.
Enjoy learning new skills, seeing how things work behind the scenes, and working with lots of lights and buttons? Jump in and serve as a camera or lyrics operator, or train as an audio mixer or video director. Commitment is about once per month at either service.
COVID CARE TEAM
Give out some small church love in our large church context with this support team! This includes running errands, dropping off meals, and helping keep track of congregants who fall ill. Serve as needs arise.
Help children to worship the Lord and develop friendships rooted in Christ by learning new skills and diving into Scripture and prayer together. This team works directly with children during services. Time commitment varies based on role and your availability. Volunteers must have attended Rez for at least 6 months prior, and training is required.
MEDICAL RESPONSE TEAM
Do you work in a medical field, or are you up to date on First Aid certification? Each week, one team member is present during a service to help in case of a medical emergency. Volunteers are on-call no more than one service per month, and receive training on Rez emergency procedures.
Handy people needed for the Resurrection Facility Projects team! Help keep our building beautiful and running smoothly with projects like furniture and mechanical repairs, painting, and simple electrical and plumbing work. Sign up for projects based on your availability.
