Morning & Evening Prayer: 7 AM & 5 PM Every Day
From Our Leaders
In the rapidly shifting landscape of COVID-19, we are prayerfully weighing all of the factors in developing a timeline and process for in-person events. However, we also need to be assured that we can meet together in a time and manner that addresses legitimate public health concerns. For the latest details, please view the updates below.

Coronavirus Update: 5/23/20
Many of you are likely aware that President Trump declared that “houses of worship” are “essential places” in a statement on Friday, and that he urged all governors to “allow these essential places to open”. Our leadership team is pleased with the opportunity this presents. We also realize that there are still many health concerns around large gatherings which need to be carefully considered.
As I mentioned in the video we released this week, I am currently working with other pastoral leaders in Chicagoland on a letter that will respectfully request that the Governor consider involving leaders of faith in a process of reopening churches. I hope you know how much we desire to gather as a body for worship services in our building. This has been such a hardship for all of us. However, we also need to be assured that we can meet together in a time and manner that addresses legitimate public health concerns. We will be prayerfully weighing all of the factors in developing a timeline and process for starting public worship services again. Please pray for us as we seek the way of the Lord for our next steps.
You can expect further communication on this issue in the next week.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS WEEKEND
A call for racial justice
Right now, many of us are wondering how to respond and engage during this crucial moment in our country.
Do You Need Help?
These are difficult times. We are here for you! Visit our Care & Prayer page to ask for prayer, offer to help, ask for help, and more.
A time to be generous
Your continued generosity equips us to minister to our community even while sheltering-in-place.
Our leaders have set aside a large portion of our budget for need-based financial aid within our church community. We are also coordinating with the community to discern what resources we can contribute outside of our church. Your gifts will go toward these efforts.
Staying Connected During Coronavirus
As we navigate the realities of social distancing, we want to remain as connected as possible. Below are a few of the ways our church family is connecting online!
We are eager to pray for you as this season of sheltering-at-home. If you have a special request, or are in need of a phone call, submit a request below!
Send us what you’re doing at home—praying as a family, worshiping via livestream, playing your instrument, and more!
All church events in our building are currently suspended until further notice.
This cancellation includes retreats, RezKids Midweek, RezYouth Midweek, RezGroups, and choir. Visit our update page for the latest information.
