Church of the Resurrection seeks to hire a full-time Worship Pastor.
We have a rich heritage of musical worship spanning multiple styles and traditions within a single service. The church values a high level of Holy-Spirit led and active congregational participation in all forms of musical worship, from hymns to more contemporary pieces.
We seek a worship pastor familiar with a sacramental and liturgical tradition and one who enjoys collaborating with and managing a variety of gifted musicians. This position requires strong organizational leadership that includes supervising staff, overseeing and recruiting volunteers, leading meetings with other pastoral staff, planning liturgical worship seasons, and guiding other worship artists.
Qualifications:
- Previous worship leading experience and church work/vocational experience preferred.
- Experience in either choral music or tech and production desired.
- Formal music training experience such as Bachelor of Music or similar degree preferred.
- Five years or more of worship ministry leadership preferred.
