RezMen is not just an "idea" for a men's ministry. It is a real, living, breathing, brotherhood of Christian men, committed to journeying together with Jesus Christ. We're not rugged individualists nor Lone Rangers for Jesus. We’ve learned that’s a futile and lonely enterprise. We know we need each other, especially if we’re going to make any progress in our ultimate goal: to be transformed into the image of God's Son. We’ve discovered that this cannot happen without the power of the Holy Spirit, and that we cannot know this power fully without journeying together.

Some of us are just exploring what it means to journey with Christ; some have been doing it for decades. Some know little or nothing about theology; some know a ton. Some are contemplatives; while others love to take action. But all of us are struggling with one thing or another, and we need one another in all our gifts, abilities, and experiences to make it day by day through the very real battle that is living life as a Christian man.

The point is not to look like one another—as if there were one ideal Rez man—but to journey together towards Christ, to let him transform each of us as he will.

To aid in this process of transformation, no matter our level of faith or commitment, we're offering a variety of settings to help us come together in ways that flow with our everyday lives. There are opportunities to listen and pray for one another, to encouraging each other in faith, or to simply enjoy our friendship and brotherhood in Christ. Below are a number of ways you can plug into this brotherhood and begin enjoying the benefits of journeying together. Let the Holy Spirit transform you in the unique way you need to be transformed, partner with your brothers on the journey.

Kevin taught on the "Theology of Brotherhood", a foundational and practical teaching for anyone, woman or man, who wants to go deeper into the life of the community at Resurrection. You can download all four of his teachings, his handouts and notes, and small group discussion questions, and a special Brotherhood Icon Packet. Here's what David Haskins says about this teaching, "I sincerely encourage you to consider listening to these teachings together with your small group or other guys that didn't get a chance to go on the retreat, or who might want to hear it again, so you can experience this teaching in a more dynamic and meaningful way."
