At Resurrection we are building the church on prayer and fasting. We can’t imagine doing ministry without prayer, so we gather together to pray in the morning and evening. Throughout the year we pray and fast altogether at RezFast. We do this because we are a community completely dependent on the power and presence of God. We need him. We hope that you will find yourself refreshed and renewed as you join us in our life of prayer together.
7:00 AM, Monday-Saturday, New Church Building (Conference Rm: Acts 2)
Begin your day the way the Church has for two millenia: praying the Psalms and the Scriptures together with other Christians. This half-hour service will include Scripture readings, canticles of praise, individual intercessions and personal reflection. Tuesday's service will also have Eucharist and will be about forty-five minutes long. See calendar for specific dates.
5:30 pm, Sunday-Friday, New Church Building (Conference Rm: Acts 2)
Since the time of the Apostles, who daily gathered in the temple to pray, it has been the tradition of the Church observe public prayer twice daily (morning and evening) to offer thanks and praise to God, to present our petitions and to intercede for the needs of our parish. This thirty minute service will be held nightly, including Sundays. See calendar for specific dates.
7:00 PM, Wednesday April 6th, Ministry Center Chapel
Rezfasts are days of fasting and prayer where we as a body lift up the upcoming season to the Lord. Generally, we come together for a time of worship, then pray corporately and in small groups. Come and let us seek the Lord together and receive from Him His abundant provision for the year and season ahead.
