The one service of the year not to be missed. The Easter Vigil is the most exciting and climactic celebration for Anglicans. It is at the Easter Vigil that we celebrate the glorious first service of Easter. The Vigil begins in the dark, with the lighting of the new Paschal Candle. Then creative Bible readings and music retell the story of our salvation history. Next, new believers are baptized, new members are received, and the service concludes with Communion, singing, and dancing. Bring bells for the Alleluia! Childcare will be provided for children in kindergarten and younger until 9:30 PM.
Tickets will be available the day of at Glenbard from 2:00 - 7:00 pm.
