This year Trunk and Treat will be a part of Taste of Rez, and once again prizes will be awarded for the most creatively decorated trunks. Those participating should arrive at 1:30 to set up trunks. The east parking lot will close and Trunk and Treat will begin at 2:00 pm. Children will then go from car to car to collect their goodies. Prizes will be awarded at 2:45 for the most creatively decorated trunks. The parking lot will reopen at 3:00 pm, but families should feel free to linger and enjoy the Rez Art Show, performances and coffee until 5:00 pm.
Get ready for Taste of Rez which will be held at the Ministry Center on Saturday Oct. 25 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. This year's event will consist of Trunk and Treating for the kids in costume, with prizes awarded to the best decorated vehicles, plus delicious coffee and yummy goodies. In addition, we are adding the first Church of the Resurrection Art Show! Over 40 artists will display various works. There will also be fun performances with actors and song writers. Many items will be on sale, and the artists will be donating at least some of their proceeds to the land and building fund. Mark your calendars and invite your friends and neighbors!
