Sunday Morning Worship Services and Schedule Rez offers two Sunday morning services. The earlier, shorter service begins at 9:00 a.m., followed by a brief time of fellowship and coffee. The second service begins at 10:45 a.m. and ends around 12:15 p.m. or 12:30 p.m. Both services follow an Anglican liturgy with blended worship music--traditional and contemporary. The services include preaching, an opportunity to receive individual prayer, and the sharing of the Eucharist. The 9:00 a.m. Service The 9:00 a.m. service is shorter, lasting approximately 70-75 minutes. Though containing fewer songs and Scripture readings, it includes more stories of changed lives. Those new to Church of the Resurrection and those with young children may find this a good time to worship. The 10:45 a.m. Service The second service lasts between 90 and 100 minutes and includes the full offering of Scripture readings, hymns, and prayers. RezCafé - Starts at 10:10 a.m. Between the two services we offer a time of community fellowship (approximately 10:10 a.m. to 10:40 a.m.), so that people coming and going can connect with each other over coffee. This is also a time to explore ministry sign-ups and get basic ministry information at our Information Table, or to meet our staff and clergy. Children's Ministry and Childcare Childcare is provided during each service and for those attending Community Life Training classes. If you prefer, your children are always welcome to remain with you during the service. Nursery (children under 2): down the hallway to the right as you exit the auditorium. Children may be checked in 15 minutes before the service begins and picked up immediately after its conclusion. Noah's Ark Preschool (ages 2-5): available downstairs during the worship service. Children may be checked in to their classrooms 15 minutes before the service begins and picked up immediately after its conclusion. Kingdom Kids (1st-5th graders): Bible teaching and worship, available downstairs during the worship service. Children may be checked into their classrooms 15 minutes before the start of the service. Halfway through the service, at “The Peace,” please pick up our children in the cafeteria, so they can be with you for Communion.
