The bottom line is: Men need men. We need each other to mature in Christ, we need to listen to and pray for one another--one on one. This begins with just getting to know each other, and RezMen offers a number of opportunities for that. But we want to specifically encourage intergenerational connections because they are so important, and yet often the hardest to develop.
We have put together a Connecting Directory, which lists those who are open to getting to know other RezMen. We are encouraging these connections to be totally informal opportunities to simply get to know one another better, to help us build a more connected brotherhood.
These connections could be as simple as a one-time chat over coffee, or getting together repeatedly to watch a game or go fishing. It’s totally up to you. From these connections we pray the Holy Spirit will do some great things. And like any other relational connection in life, God will lead you to keep some quite simple, while helping others develop into very meaningful friendships.
