I'm excited to announce that this fall, Resurrection will begin a ministry residency program designed to equip young leaders for vocational ministry.
A resident is a full-time, 1-year position on Resurrection staff that combines a pastoral focus with administration and team leadership. Areas of pastoral focus could include service teams leadership, adult formation, youth, children, mission, or worship ministries.
In addition to ministry responsibilities, residents will be discipled by a senior pastoral staff member and receive extensive Bible, theology, and leadership training. Bishop Stewart, Canon Stephen Gauthier, and other leaders from throughout the diocese will also lead regular training sessions that residents will be invited to attend alongside other leaders from throughout the diocese.
This is an ideal program for recent college graduates or young professionals seeking to transition into vocational ministry. Multiple positions are available. Each position will include a fundraising component.
