The heart of Resurrection is to build a Sanctuary of Transformation through Worship and Mission. To us, Mission involves both bringing and sending. We want to bring those who are far from God into his sanctuary while also sending members to serve the underserved in DuPage County, in Chicagoland, and in the Nations.
If you have questions about Mission or want to help us bring new people into the Resurrection community, contact Deacon Keith Hartsell.

We eagerly desire to bring any who describe themselves as far from God or from his church into his saving embrace. We pray for people to come to Resurrection and seek to create a church culture of invitation and hospitality. As part of this effort, every year we carefully plan and organize three Festivals: a Festival in the fall, a Christmas Festival (Lessons & Carols, and Christmas Eve), and an Easter Festival. Each of these seasons is a great time to invite others to Resurrection.
As a next step, we have developed a clear path for each visitor to become fully connected members: first the Guest Center, then a free catered Lunch with The Staff, and finally CORE, our baptism and membership process.
All of these are in place so that you can Invest & Invite. First, invest in people by showing your genuine care for them. Then, when are ready, invite them to Resurrection.
We send people to serve in DuPage County, in Chicagoland, and in the nations. We do this through our Compassion Ministries, New Works ministry, and Nations Ministry.
