Resurrection is a church that loves to dance! That’s why we’re so excited to host our first Contra Dance, with live music from Steve Hartley (guitar) & Nelle Smith (fiddle).
Contra Dancing is easy to learn and family friendly, with a caller (leader) teaching the group of partners the simple steps before each dance.
Join us in the gym at Glenbard West after both services for finger foods, an iced tea bar, and lots of fun. Don’t forget your dancing shoes!
We’re filling Glenbard’s circle drive with family fun(and lots of root beer)!
Kernel Dan is back! You’ve seen him at the farmer’s markets around town, and now he is handing out free bags of Kettle Korn just for Church of the Resurrection.
New this year, a Toddler Train will conduct your little tykes around the circle drive in grand locomotive style!
Especially kid-friendly spots include:
Picnic at Lake Ellyn
Join us for our 3rd annual picnic at Lake Ellyn. We’ll have hotdogs right off the grill and other delicious food and drinks.
Bounce Houses and inflatables will keep the kids jumping for hours. And there will be Eurobungy for adults!
Our beloved Rez Folk Band, fresh off of an appearance in the Wheaton Labor Day Parade, will be finger-picking and playing away the afternoon.
Church services are held at 9:00 am and 11:00 am in the auditorium at Glenbard West high school, 670 Crescent Blvd. in Glen Ellyn.
