The annual March for Life Chicago draws thousands of people together to make a public stand against abortion. For the last several years, many folks from Resurrection and other churches in the Wheaton area have attended together (see photos below from 2016!), and we'd like to invite you to join us again this year!
The march take place in downtown Chicago, starting at the Federal Plaza (50 W Adams, Chicago) with a rally & speakers, and ending at the State of Illinois Building (100 W Randolph, Chicago) with a Celebration of Life. For more information from the organizers, visit www.marchforlife-chicago.org.
A chartered bus will depart from the church at 12:30 PM on Sunday, January 15th, and return around 5 PM. You can save your seat on the bus today! Just click the big green button above.
Parking: There are several parking garages in the area, there's parking immediately south of the Federal Plaza, There's a parking garage on Monroe between Lasalle and Wells. You can also meter park on Lasalle (check to see if you have to pay).
Public Transportation: The Federal Plaza is seven blocks from the Ogilvie Transportation Center in Chicago, so taking the Metra is a good option. If you'd like to join up with our group once you get there, email firstname.lastname@example.org ahead of time to arrange where to meet.
