Our annual RezMen overnight retreat will be offered each Fall and will typically start on Friday afternoon and end on Saturday evening after dinner. This retreat is a life-giving opportunity to build our brotherhood through Word, sacrament, and recreation, and will feature different dynamic teachers each year. We will be meeting again this year at Techny Towers in Techny, IL at 1:00pm on Friday for some free time to spend individually or together before beginning our first session immediately after dinner. Find out what the first successors of the apostles had to say to the Church of their day. We will be looking at a number of primary documents from 100 AD- 250 AD and discussing what these early church fathers thought about Scripture, the unity of the Church, the Lord's Prayer, the story of salvation through Jesus alone and the faithful witness of the martyrs. If you missed some of the earlier sessions, you can still pick up copies of the previous documents at the CLT class. Barbara and Stephen Gauthier and Andrew Merrick will lead the discussions.

Redeemed Lives (RL) is a pastoral course designed to help all people recover from addictions, sexual issues (including same-sex attractions), family of origin issues, identity confusion and relational difficulties such as broken marriages, codependancy, and grief. RL integrates insights from Biblical theology, Christian spiritual formation, depth psychology and classical Christian philosophy. The RL program has been a significant factor in healing hundreds of Christians over the years, and has been offered throughout Europe and America.
RL is a twenty-six week commitment. Each week consists of worship, teaching and small group sharing. Consistent attendance and personal vulnerability in the small group is required for continuation in the RL pastoral course.
The cost is $140 which includes all materials. Applications and an information sheet can be picked up at the information table and church office. Ministry Center parking lot & Chapel
This year Trunk and Treat will be a part of Taste of Rez, and once again prizes will be awarded for the most creatively decorated trunks. Those participating should arrive at 1:30 to set up trunks. The east parking lot will close and Trunk and Treat will begin at 2:00 pm. Children will then go from car to car to collect their goodies. Prizes will be awarded at 2:45 for the most creatively decorated trunks. The parking lot will reopen at 3:00 pm, but families should feel free to linger and enjoy the Rez Art Show, performances and coffee until 5:00 pm.
Get ready for Taste of Rez which will be held at the Ministry Center on Saturday Oct. 25 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. This year's event will consist of Trunk and Treating for the kids in costume, with prizes awarded to the best decorated vehicles, plus delicious coffee and yummy goodies. In addition, we are adding the first Church of the Resurrection Art Show! Over 40 artists will display various works. There will also be fun performances with actors and song writers. Many items will be on sale, and the artists will be donating at least some of their proceeds to the land and building fund. Mark your calendars and invite your friends and neighbors!
