Begin your day the way the Church has for two millennia: praying the psalms and the Scriptures together with other Christians. This half-hour service will include Scripture readings, canticles of praise, individual intercessions and personal reflection, and a focused time of prayer for our land and building project.

This brief twenty-minute prayer service in the middle of the day is an ideal pause from the busyness of life for entrance into Kingdom Time. The Noonday Office focuses on the psalms and intercessory prayers for the mission of the Church.

Evening Prayer is a wonderful time to end the day spending an hour or so in God's presence with a combination of scripture readings, psalms, a canticle of praise, devotions and the Lord's Prayer.

The memorial service for Bob Walker has been set for 4:00 pm on Friday, March 14 at Wheaton Bible Church. Barbara invites all the Resurrection church to come and celebrate Bob’s life. The service will be followed by a dinner reception. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Robert Walker Scholarship Fund at 600 Rinhart Rd, Lake Mary, FL 32746.

Though we normally have two Sunday morning worship services, for Palm Sunday we will join together for one service to celebrate the triumphal entry of Jesus into the city of Jerusalem. This service re-enacts the day when Jesus rode into Jerusalem in triumph. People cut leafy branches from palm tress and waved them in celebration, so we begin with a palm-waving outdoor processional. (Please note that the circle drive at the high school will be closed at 10am and open after the processional, so plan to arrive early) In this year's service we will bring to the altar our commitment cards for the Land and Building Campaign.

A short time of prayer in which we bless (set apart and pray over) the oil and water used in Resurrection's prayer and healing ministries. We especially encourage prayer ministers to attend.

On the night before he died, Jesus gave his followers a new commandment- a new mandate (which gave this day its name Maundy)- to "love one another as I have loved you." He showed them his love by washing his diciples' feet, and this service includes an opportunity for foot-washing. On this night, Jesus also gave his followers bread and wine as a lasting way to remember and receive his body and blood.
Outdoor Silent Processional: Immediately following the worship service, there is a silent procession from Glenbard West to the Ministry Center. There will be a return shuttle provided for those who participate. Childcare will be provided for those in Kindergarten or younger.

This disastrous day in Jesus' life- his unfair trial and death sentence- is called "good." Why? Because through Jesus' death our sins were paid for and we could be brought back to God. The service will include a time for prayer at the cross.

The Easter Vigil is the most exciting and climactic celebration for Anglicans. It is at the Easter Vigil that we celebrate the glorious first service of Easter. The Vigil begins in the dark, with the lighting of the new Paschal Candle. Then creative Bible readings and music retell the sotry of our salvation history. Next, new believers are baptized, new members are recieved, and the service concludes with Communion, singing, and dancing. Bring bells for the Alleluia!
Childcare wil be provided for children in kindergarten and younger until 9:30pm.
We are offering free tickets for reserved seats in the auditorium for Vigil, because we want to use every seat in order to accommodate all of our friends, family members, and guests. Tickets will be available beginning February 26th.
