About Compassion

At Church of the Resurrection, we believe in the transforming work of God in all of its fullness.

As we are transformed by the Lord, our eyes are given new sight to see the underserved. Our ears are opened to hear the cry of the Least. The call to be transformed by the Lord takes us beyond ourselves to those around us, especially the Least whom we are called to remember.

Transformation for us never ends with us- it is forever sending us out with the love of God for our neighbor here and abroad.

New Compassion Ministries Pastor

As Deacon Gregory prepares to leave for missions work in Cambodia, we are delighted to announce that his successor will be Matt Woodley.  Matt is a veteran pastor who has worked extensively in urban and cross-cultural ministries.
