Community Care
“Share one another's burdens and so follow the teachings of Jesus.” Galatians 6:2
Our vision for Community Care is that the body of Christ would minister to each other and help to carry each other’s burdens while in the midst of crisis and difficult life situations.
We believe that the people who can best serve someone in crisis are those closest to that person. A small group, a prayer cell, a service ministry – all of these communities help carry the “burdens of the brother or sister in crisis by listening, praying, encouraging, and supporting that individual.”
The Community Care Team ministries and Healing ministries listed in this brochure are here to equip us as members of the Body of Christ to minister to one another. We hope this brochure helps you be a part of the community at Church of the Resurrection that cares for one another.
