We will hear from three different speakers who have taken to heart Christ’s words “insofar as you do this unto the least of these, you have done so as unto me.” On 11/2, Resurrection parishioner Dawn Jewell will share from her new book Escaping the Devil’s Bedroom, which focuses on Christians combating sex-trafficking. On 11/9, Deacon John Green, head of Emmaus Ministries, will share with us about its important ministry to gay, lesbian, and transgendered persons. Finally, on 11/16, representatives from World Relief will tell us about their work with immigrants and refugees.
