Dr. Amy Black, a political science professor at Wheaton College, taught from her forthcoming book, Beyond Left and Right: A Christian's Guide to American Politics (Baker Books). She talked about some of the problems Christians may encounter when they engage in politics and offer some strategies for pursuing this vital work.

This course won’t tell you how to vote on November 4th, but it will help you to think Christianly about the ways we participate in our representative democracy.  Should we be single issue voters?  Should the character of a candidate always override his or her other qualifications?  Does political compromise require personal and moral compromise?   What principles should guide our political involvement?  Dr. Amy Black, political scientist at Wheaton College, will lead us.  Only Part 2 is available for download.
